Traveled to Ya Cheng, an old city about 1 and a half hour by bus from Sanya. Its a very unusual place. People there seem to trade 3 commodities. Aubergines, green beans and bananas. The streets are swarmed with people being busy loading the fruits and vegetables into boxes, trucks, baskets etc. Lots of old vehicles filled with these goodies are driving back and forwards through town. It felt like going back in time being in that town.
